8A STARS III

ScribeDoc holds 8(a) STARS III small business set-aside Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) providing flexible access to customized Information Technology (IT) solutions.

8(A) STARS III is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract engineered to provide cutting-edge technology solutions from award-winning 8(a) small businesses to federal agencies. Using 8(a) STARS III enables government agencies to access an 8(a) firm through an established contract vehicle, bypassing traditional, open market methods to save time and taxpayer money.

GSA's 8(a) STARS III GWAC has been designated as a Best-in-Class contract vehicle by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). ScribeDoc is proud to announce their inclusion in the first cohort of contractors awarded 8(a) STARS III. With a ceiling of $50 billion, 8(a) STARS III builds upon the framework of 8(a) STARS II and expands capabilities for emerging technologies and outside the continental United States (OCONUS) requirements. These task areas can be awarded at or under the $4.5 million competitive threshold on a sole source basis. Task orders can be over $4.5M and customers must have authority to compete an order at or under $4.5M.

Technical Scope:

This fourth generation GWAC focuses on customer programming services, computer systems design, computer facilities management, other computer related services, data processing, hosting and related services. The scope of the 8(a) STARS III, is centered on North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 541512, but may include other NAICS codes that are predominately IT services. These may include, but are not limited to, 541511, 541513, 541519, and 518210. The contract offers IT services ranging from simple to complex and services-based solutions such as IT help-desk support, information assurance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and more.
